Music Blockbusters
If you’re wondering who topped the music selling charts with their contributions to music history this year then I’m sure you have these three names in mind:
1. Adele
2. Lady Gaga
3. Michael Bublé

Adele has turned her two albums into major successes with songs like Rolling in the Deep and Someone like you. The magic number in her case is 18 million copies sold combined. Adele is the undisputed queen of pop-soul this year.
Lady Gaga got her second album to the runner up position by having sold 5.4 million copies of Born this Way; a million of these copies were sold in the first week itself and in the US alone. Lady Gaga is considered to be an icon and an example of trust and willingness for many of her fans.
And second runner up is none other than the charming Michael Bublé with his seasonal album, Christmas, which has sold 5.2 million copies only having been released just two months back.

Have a Happy Musical New Year!
Beyoncé released her fourth solo album titled “4” in June and debuted number in most the world’s top 10 charts.
When Taylor was 11 she decided to record a demo tape of her favourite country songs on Karaoke and travelled to Nashville, Tennesse where she distributed her tape to each and every record label and sadly she was not taken into account by any of them. Not much later, Taylor was asked to sing the American National Anthem at the US Open Tennis Tournament where she drew lot of attention. A couple of years later Big Machine Records signed her on, making her the youngest staff songwriter ever hired.
Taylor has also been through some “rough” times of her own. When Taylor won the award for Best Female Video award, on the moment of accepting the award when Taylor was getting ready to make the traditional acceptance speech, a most probably intoxicated Kanye West got on stage, snatched the mic from Taylor claiming that Beyonce’s video for “Single Ladies” was the best video ever. Taylor looked astonished on the day of the ceremony and upset during the forthcoming days. Later Kanye apologised and Beyonce asked Taylor on stage when accepting her “Single Ladies” Best Video of the Year Award at the same ceremony so she could finish her acceptance speech.
What if I told you that their first album was called Songs about Jane (2002) and that the album was entirele dedicated to the lead singer’s, Adam Levine, ex-girlfriend, Jane.
